25 Years, 25 Best Action Movies
Entertainment Weekly has put out a list of the twenty-five best action movies over the past twenty-five years (in their opinion). In a nutshell, counting down to number one:
25 - Apocalypto
24 - Desperado
23 - Rambo: First Blood
22 - The Fugitive
21 - Mission Impossible III
20 - The Terminator
19 - Kung Fu Hustle
18 - The Professional
17 - The Incredibles
16 - Lethal Weapon
15 - Casino Royale
14 - Predator
13 - Spider-Man 2
12 - Kill Bill Volume 1
11 - The Bourne Supremacy
10 - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
9 - Robocop
8 - Speed
7 - Terminator 2: Judgement Day
6 - Hard Boiled
5 - Saving Private Ryan
4 - Gladiator
3 - The Matrix
2 - Aliens
1 - Die Hard
What do you movie addicts think? I’d probably have Matrix, Aliens, and Die Hard in the top three. I’d move The Incredibles way up there…yeah, it was a cartoon, but it was intense! Haven’t seen a few of them…Kung Fu Hustle, Hard Boiled, Apocalypto. I’ve only seen the TV-edited version of Kill Bill (which after editing for TV, I believe, was about 6 minutes long).
Dang, I’ve seen a lot of action movies!
