Meet The Pastor

I realized that I never updated you blogreaders about our pastor search. We got one.

This is Jim Suddath and his family. They’re currently in Jackson, TN. Two weeks ago, by a 95% vote, he became our pastor.

They’re working on selling their house, finding one down here, and boxing stuff up.

You can probably tell by the picture that he’s a big guy. 6 feet 6 inches or so. He played basketball for Duke. All you sports stat geeks can check out his numbers at Duke here.

He’ll be in our pulpit in August…hopefully the first Sunday of the month.

Yay!

Woo-hoo! A guy with some history in the PCA! Congrats and many prayers for his ministry to prosper and for the good times of ministry ahead.

Jim officiated at our wedding in 1999. We moved away from Chattanooga in 2002 and lost touch. I was just wondering where they were. I think you all chose wisely for your new pastor.

Jim is a lifetime friend of mine. We went to Conley Hills Elementary School in East Point.

We shared baseball fields, basketball courts, overnighters, and teepees in the Indian Guides.

What a guy!!!!Loves to Skylark!
