Parents Of The Year
The parents in a suburban primary school ganged up on the teacher directing the production of “Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs”. They told her it was unfair that only one girl got to play Snow White. They inundated the teacher and the school with phone calls, heckling, and what the school called “bullying”.
The teacher and the school caved.
And when the curtain went up on stage…
There were no dwarves.
There was no wicked witch.
Just twenty-five Snow Whites.
In the interest of “fairness”, every kid was awarded the lead role.
Insert eye-rolls and snide comments here.
