I saw Boston back in ‘95 or ‘96 - it was after they had replaced Brad Delp, but he still came out to sing several songs. It was a 4th of July concert, so it ended big. There was no opening act, just Boston coming out and playing hard, they when they took a break Tom Scholz stayed on stage and played up the phantom of the rock show thing with a 20-minute set on the pipe organ (the second largest pipe organ in the world, and they pack it up and take it on the road!).
I saw recently that Tom was playing at a show with Stryper, so this is somewhat less of a surprise knowing that. I might have to talk Mrs. E into going with me!
Yep. Cool, eh? I posted on this the other day too if you want to check it out. Peace, brotha.
