Nash-Vegas Awaits
After church tomorrow, Anna and I get ready to drive up to Nashville on Monday for our first cre:ate conference.
Anna and I have a “six degrees of separation” relationship with Randy Elrod (of blog fame Ethos) and his wife Chris, who are the founders of the conference:
- Anna is from Ringgold, Georgia…so are Randy and Chris…in fact, they were all at Ringgold High School around the same time
- A number of years ago, Randy served as the worship leader of First Baptist of Indian Rocks FL…where my brother David is Senior Associate Pastor
Okay, maybe that’s only two degrees. But it was pretty weird when we were visiting David’s church for a worship service, and Anna said, “Hey, I went to high school with them!”.
Anyway, it starts Monday night. I’m sure I’ll be blogging during the conference, so tune back in for updates…
