Who am I?
I’m a sinner, husband, father, artist, disappointment, leader, warrior, man, child, believer, doubter, success, failure, eternal soul, skeptic, teacher, fool, dreamer, lover, adulterer, liar, poet, godly, godless, growing, dying fragment of humanity…
What am I doing here?
I’m here to worship.
I’m here to reflect the grace and love of the One Who rescued me from all those bad things, and Who reminds me that all those good things are rubbish.
I’m here to struggle. To live in the contradiction. To get beat up and bloody and messy in the fight.
And I will stand victorious at the end of all things.
I believe it.
Amen.
